a Random Exit

A Random Exit is an electronic/organic band with members in Toronto and Sudbury. Originally conceived in 1999 by Mike Goat and Granto as a rhythym-based project focusing on hypnotic, floor-pounding arrangements complemented by live instruments, ARE developed a cult following throughout Northern Ontario. In late 2000, the duo performed on "The Zero Signal", an industrial-tinged radio show on Sudbury's CKLU hosted by Nathan Plastic. By late 2001, Nathan joined the band as lead vocalist, bringing a more confrontational energy and charismatic presence to ARE's live shows. As a trio, the band have been described as creating dark electro grooves, measuring out graceful synths with swirling, sub-bass noise on songs dealing with sex, obsession, and fatalism. ARE's first full-length CD "Perdition" was released in the spring of 2003 and has received some significant college radio and club play, in part for their cover of Dead Can Dance's "The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove."

NI25

NI25 started out in late 2002 as a rather experimental project releasing a full length by April 2003 that was all instrumental and done with only computer software. By summer 2003, Joe had purchased synths and microphone/effects equipment, and recording equipment. This raised NI25 to a whole new level and allowed for the tracks to be more "diverse". Joe started mixing genres into one track to create a unique sound. This is why NI25 is not considered just "Industrial", but rather Industrial/Noise/Jungle/Trip Hop...because some or all of those genres are mixed into one track giving a totally unique sound that stands out from most other artists. By September 2003, a rerelease of the debut album was released with tracks that now had vocal in them and more depth. Promotion for NI25 has started to begin as well, but with Joe being stuck in Rochester, NY, there were hard times when it came to getting a show. The Industrial scene is rather dead there, so it was difficult. But finally by August 2004, Joe had brought NI25 to the stage for the first time. This was in Rochester, NY and despite the small crowd due to a lack of scene, everyone was rather pleased with the performance NI25 had put out. Joe now has taken up DJing in which he hopes DJing will help in promoting NI25 as well. After that first show, Joe has grown a great desire to do almost everything possible to get NI25 back on stage as often as he can...and hopes to reach NI25 to national exposure within the coming year.

Delica

Delica’s "half electronic, half synthpop, half goth" blend of music captures the emotion of an unspoken word, a single moment. From penetrating rhythms to swirling atmosphere, the songs are at home both on the darkest dance floors and on those long car drives to nowhere.

Delica has venued in countless clubs, opening for bands such as Diorama, Hocico and Decoded Feedback, and has appeared on the television program The Scene. Their straightforward approach has led to music and performances that captivate listeners while escaping the drudgery of commercialism.
